Data Retention Information
Professional draft overview of retention principles.
This page is a working draft under review. It is not a final signed agreement. Questions: sales@riyaletechsolutions.com.
1. Principle
Riyale should retain information only for documented service, security, contractual and legal needs, then securely delete or anonymise it where appropriate.
2. Customer-controlled records
Law firms should configure and follow their professional retention obligations for client and matter information. Product retention features do not replace legal judgement.
3. Account and security records
Account, billing, audit and security records may have different retention needs. Final periods should be documented after legal and operational review.
4. Closure and deletion
The final service terms should explain export, suspension, cancellation and deletion timelines, including recovery backups and lawful exceptions.
